A Romantic Wedding At Visingsborg Castle
Sara and David’s romantic wedding took place on the small island of Visingsö, Sweden. Sara and David, highschool sweethearts destined for each other. The day unfolded with so much love as Sara got ready at her family’s summer cottage.
A Love Letter And A Gift

How Did You Two Meet?
We met already in high school through mutual friends and became a couple when we were 16 years old. From that moment we have been accompanied by education and qualification. We only separated for a short time for some traveling and abroad studies.
Tell Us About The Proposal?
During a trip to London in December 2014, David went down on one knee and proposed. He had arranged with a private balcony at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel. There we got engaged in front of the view of city lights. It was amazing!
Why Did You Pick Visingsborg Castle As You Wedding Ceremony Location?
In June this year, we celebrated ten years together as a couple. So and we could not think of a better way to celebrate it than to get married. We picked Visingsborg Castle because that is where I have spent all my summers since I was a little girl. It is my place on earth, and where we share many wonderful summer memories from the island.
The week leading up to the wedding the weather channel predicted large amounts of rain. Thus we felt torn between hope and despair wheater to go on with the outdoor ceremony.
Only a few drops of rain came down while declaring our vows and the whole congregation held their breath. But few drops was all and they say it means a lucky marriage, thus I’m pleased.
The dress is from Zetterberg Couture and the reception venue is Wising Hotell. Floral Design made by The Wild Rose.
