I just got back from our second Bohemia Gathering in Valencia. It was the most amazing experience. 10 fantastic female photographers from all over the world joined us in Spain for a week of film photography, talking shop, shooting, learning and experimenting with film. We also had the amazing opportunity to spend a day at my all time favourite lab, Carmencita Film Lab. Were all of us got to develop our film and learn to scan it. Yeah, that is NOT easy! But so much fun.
Bohemia is a unique concept, it’s not quite a workshop yet it is, but more of a gathering but still with lots of exorcises and challenges as in how you see light, how to meter and how to shoot different types of film and what to do to make the images get the look YOU want. Yeah, a lot of work. But oh so rewarding.
I can only speak for myself but Bohemia for me is liberating, exhilarating, adventures and at the same time it feels like coming home. That week in Valencia will forever and always stay with me I treasure the new friendships I made and the beautiful ladies I got to know.
This photos of me was taken by Cristiana Vaz Franco of Love is my Favourite Color, one of the Bohemia ladies attending.
It’s perfect. Because it looks the way I feel.
But to really understand what Bohemia is about you need to see this film. Don’t need to say more, just watch it and I promises it’s a 3 min feel good instant shot. The film was made by Laia Lluch of Lluch & Solver Love Films, thank you Laia for capturing the essence of Bohemia.

During April I visited Valencia where my lab is based. Carmencita Film Lab is such a big part of my work and one of the persons frequently working with me is Laura. She is very dear to me and such a fantastic person and very talented photographer herself. I’m very thankful I had the opportunity to photograph Laura and her boyfriend Jonas that stormy night on the beach. It was a short impromptu couple session but I loved every minute of it. I’m very elated to be able share a few images from that couple session today. Thank you Laura and Jonas, you are beautiful, inside and out.

This Swedish seaside winter wedding inspiration was one of the most fun and creative things I did late last year. Shot on location in Varberg during November it was so cold, but oh so worth it. The short black dress with lace and beading matched with a black long tulle skirt is from Zetterberg Couture was a perfect outfit pared with the black red and gold wedding cake by Sannas Tårtor. I teamed up with Linnéa of The Wild Rose, floral design, amazing models Filip Berg and Helena Hedberg of NMG Models, hair and makeup artist Nicole Ossowska. All jewellery by Lily and Rose. Table ware from Atmosphere Antik and ribbons from Silk and Willow. Dev scan by my awesome lab, Carmencita Film Lab. We are thrilled to see this wedding inspiration shoot published on Style Me Pretty today and hoping more brides will discover Zetterberg Couture and their collection of amazing wedding dresses. Huge thank you to the entire team for doing such a great job! Loved working with you all.
Part 2 of this shoot will be published here soon so please do come back for some more delicious winter seaside wedding inspiration while we wait for spring to arrive!
