Spring is around the corner, so I wanted to share a few spring wedding ideas. I love springtime, it’s the beginning of a new season, and it’s all so fresh and bright. It’s my favorite time of the year. And it is no wonder why spring weddings are so popular. With some places just waking up from the winter and everything is in full bloom, the springtime is one of the best times to be married. If you are planning a springtime wedding and are not sure where to begin, we have some great ideas for you.

Choose a Pastel Color Palette

Pastels are lovely for the springtime and matches perfectly to the blooms of the season. From a pastel blue bridesmaids dress to pastel pink flowers or centerpieces, there is a world of options when it comes to adding pretty pastels to your wedding. These colors look stunning when paired with one another, or just on their own.

Consider a Shorter Wedding Dress

Nothing screams spring wedding like a tea length wedding dress. It looks elegant but not overdone, and simply stunning in a garden ceremony. Tea-length dresses usually end around the mid-calf area and have a more voluminous skirt to go with a fitted top. The dresses are available in a myriad of designs and cuts as well, so be sure to try some on that have straps and are strapless to find the one you love.

With the flowers all in bloom, a wedding ceremony in a botanical garden is a magical time in the spring. Surround your guests with blooming foliage and say your vows under a decorated arbor with rose petals sprinkled down the aisle. Remember, when choosing an outdoor location though, that weather is always a factor; you should always book a backup location that you love in case Mother Nature gets in the way of having anything outdoors.
