Emma and Ian’s international wedding at Mem Kanalmagasinet was nothing but beautiful, fun and hot! During one of those really warm days this past summer the couple invited family and friends from all over the world to celebrate in an international fashion. The couple live in Canada but have Swedish Scottish ancestry. The picturesque venue chosen for the occasion was Kanalmagasinet Mem, a well hidden gem about 2 and a half hours south of Stockholm. Situated just by the canal with boats passing by and making a quick stop for coffee or lunch, we instantly fell in love with the place.

Emma and her 4 bridesmaids was getting ready at Emma’s parents house and since it was so warm that day a lot of the activity took place on the patio. Once it was time for ceremony the bride and groom arrived together on an old rowing boat, so romantic! Later in the evening a Scottish cèilidh band played and the bride and groom was exceptional dancers and we could tell everyone was having fun at the dance floor. As it should be on a wedding we also joined in on the dance floor, couldn’t help ourselves.

We had such an amazing time photographing Emma and Ian’s wedding, it was a remarkable and enjoyable day indeed.
