This relaxed and colorful Greek island destination wedding was a joy to photograph. With shades of bright blue, the Aegean sea, bold blooms, and to top it off an octopus motif, it had all a relaxed island wedding should have.
How on earth do you end up having a wedding at Paros, I wondered. Well, here’s the story! Courtney and Marc have been together for eleven years. Eleven years, you guys! That is impressive! But already when they met, she knew he was the one. Marc turned her down when she first asked him on a date when they were only 18. But luckily she didn’t give up, and they dated in college. Years later, they traveled to Greece and went sailing around the islands. They both fell in love with the culture, people, and breathtaking beauty of it all. And the rest is as they say history! There was no way they would not tie the knot in Greece. How their Greek island wedding turned out was fantastic. Not only was it beautiful, but the wedding was also filled with so much joy and love. I particularly like how many colors Courtney and Marc included. That makes the experience of their celebration so festive!
I worked with the lovely wedding planner Vana at White Ribbon Boutique Events for this celebration, and I’m thrilled to be going back to Paros for another Greek island destination wedding next year. But for now, enjoy Courtney and Marc’s Paros Island destination wedding. This wedding has previously been published on Style Me Pretty!
Thanks for stopping by, stay tuned for more weddings from around Europe and Scandinavia. I photographed so many gorgeous events last year that I can’t wait to show you!
