A Perfect Venue For A Destination Wedding In Stockholm, Sweden, is there such a place? Yup! If I had to pick one spot as a perfect venue for a destination wedding in Stockholm, I’d pick this one in a heartbeat!

But let’s back up a bit, and let me tell you how it all began.

As you probably remember, we have been in a state of chaos for the last couple of years. With covid-19 across the world, many couples sadly had to halt their wedding planning.

Back in March of 2020, I received an email in my inbox. It was from the lovely Danielle emailing me from Miami, and we got off to a fantastic start. We just vibed.

Danielle and her fiance, Anton, who’s from Sweden, by the way, we’re planning to get married near Anton’s hometown just outside of Stockholm. So they were just starting to look for vendors and hadn’t yet decided on a date or a venue, so the first time we met over zoom, pretty much everything was undecided.

We chatted and emailed back and forth, and I was really excited about working with this couple; they were just so awesome. I know I use that word a lot but let me tell you, this couple is amazeballs!

Anyhow, they decided on a date and on a venue. By the time December rolled around, they were actually able to come to Sweden for their engagement session. We had a great time together. I just love how we connected. The photos turned out amazing, or at least I thought so, and thankfully Danielle and Anton also did!!

As we all know, covid continued, so they had to postpone their wedding. I mean, this is not the first couple I have had that was forced to postpone; pretty much all my 2020 couples postponed, but Daniel and Anton also postponed their 2021 celebration because their family from Miami couldn’t travel to Sweden because of restrictions.

They also decided to change venues. Perhaps it was inspiration from seeing other weddings taking place in Sweden and discovering other beautiful places that made them realize that it might be a better option for them. Luckily, they kept me, and I’m so happy about that. So, they decided to book Rånäs Slott for their May 2022 wedding.

Now you’re thinking, you mentioned the perfect venue for a destination wedding in Stockholm, Sweden. Is that the place? Yes! Rånäs Slott is, in my opinion, the perfect venue for a destination wedding in Stockholm, Sweden. Not only is it very close to our biggest airport, but it is also own so large enough to host all your family and friends and guests coming from abroad. They can also hold your wedding ceremony either outdoors or indoors. They can offer to have a tented wedding in the lush castle garden, and it’s far enough away from any neighbors you can continue the party late into the wee hours of the morning.

Rånäs also has a lovely history, and the castle is beautifully adorned with painted ceilings and a stunning huge staircase, and of course, they serve amazing food. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the staff because this is one of the best places I have had the pleasure of working at.

These are the reasons I think this is the perfect venue to have a destination in Stockholm, Sweden, and I know you will love it too.

I have so many things to say about this day and how flawlessly it came together.
