To me, the memories made while engaged are just as sweet as the memories made in the first year of marriage. So yes, I highly encourage you to have engagement photos, they are more important than you think!

Engagement photos and why I think you should have them

Here are my thoughts and tips, and while every photographer has a different approach, I’d like to believe this will help. Even if you haven’t booked me as your wedding photographer.

Your engagement session usually lasts one to two hours. I schedule a date and time with you based on the best light. The last two hours before the sun sets is the best for engagement photos, in my opinion.

The last thing that I want you doing before your engagement photos is worrying and stressing. Allow plenty of time for traffic. In Stockholm, traffic is terrible, and I don’t know how many times my couples have stressed because of traffic. I say, don’t you worry about that. I’ll wait for you guys! I much rather you two talk about your day and dream together than worry about arriving late.

That might mean that your session happens at your home, a place you love to visit together, or maybe you will finally go to that dream destination together! Engagement photo locations in Stockholm

In Stockholm, there are many fantastic locations for engagement photos. But I have also photographed sessions in the south of Sweden, in the archipelago, in Norway, and often I travel to Italy for engagement and honeymoon photos. You pick the location, and we’ll create some magic together. I do, however, have a little list of secret spots in the Stockholm area where I often take my couples for photos. If they don’t want to pick a location on their own. I’m here to assist before, during, and after your engagement photos, so I will help you out with that.
