Södertuna Slott – Fairytale Castle Garden Wedding

You should feel like royalty on your wedding day, and why not have a fairytale castle garden celebration?  Södertuna Slott has all of that to offer and more. With only a 45 min drive from Stockholm, the position is excellent for out of town guests.

It’s right; there are gorgeous and magnificent castles all over Sweden where you can get married. Palaces are ranging from Mideaval style stone fortresses to Baroque halls. But Södertuna Slott has won my heart, and it won the hearts of my clients Rita and Nick, who picked this spot for their romantic and luxurious wedding weekend.

Character and right on the water

Rita and Nick chose the venue because they genuinely love the atmosphere at Södertuna. With having so much family and friends traveling from all over the world, they wanted them to get a feel for Sweden. The property is right on the water, lots of history, and gorgeous grounds. All of their guests could also sleep at the castle and enjoy their time there.

The bride and groom both looked forward to showcased their love for everyone and becoming husband and wife. Naturally, they were thrilled to have everyone they love all at the same location. Laughing, dancing, and having fun!

The best part of the wedding day is all the emotions and excitement everyone feels. And I warn you all; this will be a very long blog post. 18th-century castle

During the18th century, the old medieval farmhouse was transformed into the castle that we know today. You can unquestionably sense the 18th-century ambiance when you walk through the castle chambers.

The romantic yellow castle was once a private residence. Today’s main building is a bright and elegant estate with beautifully manicured gardens. If you are dreaming of a fairytale castle garden wedding that is both luxurious and opulent, then Södertuna Slott surely is a perfect venue.
