Stoked to finally be able to share this winter Seashell Beach Wedding Inspiration In Falkenberg. The wind was freezing but the team braved the cold!
The team drove to Falkenberg in February. The icy roads from Stockholm were no joke, but it was all worth it. Please wait until you see, you’ll know what I mean! Getting married in winter is incredible! So Falkenberg almost doubles as a southern European beach. If you have a little imagination!
Falkenberg, which is a gorgeous town on the west coast. The ceremony and the table were on one of the vast beaches in the area. A short walk away from the village center. It was the most beautiful day, and the sun shone all the time, although the wind from the ocean was fresh.
Getting ready
The team got everything ready at the Falkenberg beach. The atmosphere was electric. The couple took a stroll to get in the mood for photos. Elin lit a fire to get our heat up, and it looks stunning in the pictures. It is fine to have a fire in wintertime. No worries, we made sure it is ok!
The shoot was an intimate affair. Keeping a strong team makes for the best shoot. It was a beautiful setup, with a huge table, so pretty styled for the photos! During the shoot, we had all of the holdings down the menus, not get grabbed by the wind. It was so personal and inspiring.
The Idea
The idea was to inspire all future winter brides to take a look at Falkenberg and the beach. To chose the spot because it’s gorgeous and huge. I love shooting beach weddings because they’re always so chilled. But I also love Falkenberg as it’s so stunning to me, and the area is so lovely.
We had a great time in the afternoon and a creative flow in the evening. Decorated the table with seashells and blue tones because they remind us of the beach and the sea.
The best part of the day was hanging out with the team because the energy was amazing. We all feel this was the beginning of a great relationship since it was out first editorial together.
The couple
Anna wore a dusty blue tulle dress, and Chris wore a grey suit with a small bow tie, and they looked so gorgeous. Anna’s bouquet had frozen but still looked amazing! They are such troopers!
The couple had not met before but had instant chemistry when they touched something sparkled.
If you’re planning your winter wedding in Falkenberg, my piece of advice would be not to worry about the sand. It’ll serve as a reminder when you find it everywhere, haha. Much like I did when I got back home.
The editorial in Falkenberg was so much fun and had such a fantastic vibe. Here’s the striking result!
