The founders of Heelow shoes are Anna and Ida and the idea for Heelow shoes was born in 2011 when Ida was getting married. She was looking for a pair of nice flats and realized that the range of flats was somewhat limited. Three years later Anna started to plan her wedding and they both realized that there was still no brand of party shoes without heels on the Swedish market. A few text messages later the decision was made and in two weeks Anna and Ida registered their business and the brand Heelow shoes was born.

Their  idea and vision to create beautiful and comfortable party flats so that you can have just as much fun as you want without having to worry about sore feet and a tired back. Their thoughts are that the shoes can be used for weddings or other festive occasions and also function with a stylish everyday outfit. Heelow shoes are manufactured in Portugal and designed in Sweden. They are working closely with the factory to ensure the most stylish, comfortable and exclusive low heeled shoe possible.

Heelow shoes webshop will be launched at the end of this month and I’m so excited for this and very honoured to have been hired to photograph this campaign. So, here’s a taste of the faboulous Heelow shoes, will post more as soon as they have launched!

The Heelow spring campaign 2015 was shot entirely on Kodak Portra film. All dev/scan was made by Carmencita Film Lab, Spain.
