Knonovalls Vinslott

One walk past the gates of Kronovalls Vinslott and one immediately falls for this 19th-century gem its jaw-dropping staircase and gardens! Can’t believe this is Sweden? Loved every minute capturing its beauty and can’t wait to be back for more wedding celebrations.

Kronovall is everything a perfect aesthetics-loving bride and groom covet! Think of a wine castle where every room is unique, furnished with 18th and 19th-century antiques, in a chic accord with the characteristics of various grapes. Take me back, please!

Orangeriet Norrviken

Throw a painterly celebration at Orangeriet Norrviken where the famed visionary Rudolf Abelin created one of the prettiest orchards and Japanese gardens of Scandinavia in 1906. Perhaps what is so compelling about photographs is the powerful art of transporting us to the meaningful moment and place. To get the full picture see this bucket-list worthy fete at Norrviken on my journal!

Bro Hof Slott

The castle, built in 1888, has a typical Baroque style with elements of empire. The middle part is crowned by a dome that ends with a tall lantern. The architect Herman Holmgren had made himself known for the drawings to Uppsala University.

Bro Hof Castle is today has a world-renowned golf court and hosts several tournaments each year. The white ornate castle is the perfect place for any couple who enjoys golfing. The castle is in close proximity to Stockholm and Arlanda Airport, great for guests traveling in.

The venue you choose for your wedding will set the frame for the entire experience. You know what they say, “location, location, location!”And it is so true. I’ll be back with a second post about a few more really fantastic Swedish wedding venues soon. Happy to help you pick the perfect one that’ll be an impeccable backdrop and framing for your big day.

xoxo, Isabelle
