The Most Photogenic Wedding Venues in Stockholm

I have been a wedding photographer in Stockholm for over nine years, and I have photographed hundreds of weddings. Additionally, I have visited many of the most photogenic wedding venues in and around Stockholm. So I can tell you there are the gorgeous ones, the practical ones, and the not so photogenic ones. So instead of wasting time on wedding venue visits, here are the topmost photogenic wedding venues in Stockholm.

To try and make things simple, I have handpicked a few of the best wedding venues in Stockholm that I have photographed. From charmingly historic localities like Södertuna Slott just minutes outside of Stockholm and Grand Hotel in downtown Stockholm.

The quirky, fashionable venue such as Ruin Retreat or artsy, modern Artipelag, both in Nacka, easily accessible with a boat or a car. Everything from grand ballrooms to all-embracing staircases and novel boutique hotels. Plus, the less known places like Gimo Herrgård, an hour north of Stockholm. Striving to make the selection of wedding venues as varied and this post as valuable as I can.

Below each venue, I have put direct links to the venue’s website so you can check them out, plus you can find a few direct links to weddings I have photographed too. It’s definitely something here for everyone, but if you’re still haven’t found what you are looking for at the end of this post, please get in touch with me, and I’d be happy to assist. As a handful of the best wedding venues in Stockholm, this list is by no means the most comprehensive, but it’s my personal take on it. The range of venues for weddings in Stockholm is extensive. However, you will definitely find the top ones on this list!

One and by far the most stylish is Ruin RetreatRuin Retreat is the wedding venue in Stockholm that is most photogenic of all sites I’ve worked at. If you are searching for that luxury boutique vibe, look no further. You will love Ruin Retreat! Ruin Retreat is a small venue. Therefore you can only have intimate, micro weddings or elopements at this venue. Don’t let that discourage you. If you can’t hold your wedding here, why not have your rehearsal dinner or spend a few days honeymooning at Ruin Retreat!

The historical and classic downtown Grand Hôtel in Stockholm was built in 1792 and still carries that old-world charm. From the sweeping staircases to the majestic golden ballroom and splendid halls, this place is like taken straight out of the chronicles. Artipelag Nacka

And last but certainly not least on the list of most photogenic wedding venues in Stockholm is Artipelag. For the style-conscious bride who wants something more than “just” a wedding venue. Sleek, chic, and modern are the three words that best sum up this Stockholm wedding venue. With a mix of an art gallery, restaurant, and archipelago getaway, Artipelag will be one of the most sought after wedding venues in Stockholm for 2019.
